Our second, and last full Paris was a little more relaxed than out first, but nonetheless still as lovely. Waking up bright and early (well, relatively early) we began the day with a trip to visit and snap some tourist photos at the Moulin Rouge, making a following beeline for the vintage in Les Marais. After heading heading to Freep’star, we made a run for The Kilo Shop, which was amazing. I have never seen so much organised and sorted vintage in one place- hello rails of simple polka dot shirts! I was in heaven (and all at a snip of London prices)… We then continued our stroll along the Seine, heading past Notre Dame and onto a parade of gorgeous independent shops, filled with delicious chocolates, fresh blooms and more Nutella fuelled crepes and ice cream than I could possibly fathom. We also made a stop at a beautiful graphics and pens stop, to which I spotted the below wall covered in old letter envelopes with the most stunning calligraphy (if you know me, you’ll know I go crazy for a good font or two) so although slightly nerdy, was pretty cool.

We then made a pit stop for the Paris Saint Germain stadium, which although was essentially for Joe’s benefit I may have enjoyed his endless football facts, and am certainly impressed with their signing of Thiago Silva (see Joe, I DO listen). We then headed back towards Notre Dame and although passing a Pizza Express-esque restaurant on the way (my weakness), headed to a cute little bistro, to enjoy Spaghetti and some (very) overpriced drinks to some typically French accordion music, before heading over to the Quai d’Austerlitz, to watch the sun set over the Seine with Audrey– before rounding off the holiday watching the Eiffel Tower light show- which, was a perfect and magical evening to say goodbye to one of my new favourite cities.
